Movies with Kanye West

According to Cartoon Brew, in a recent interview Kanye West talked about the movie Wreck-It Ralpha and compared himself to the female lead, Vanellope von Schweetz. I imagine any conversation with Kanye West has a certain oddness to it. I’m not sure whether it would actually get stranger when he starts identifying with an imaginary pre-teen girl made of candy. That could be the more normal part.

What catches me is, I saw Wreck-It Ralph, and liked it, and now I’m wondering: so, if we were to meet, we’d be able to talk about Wreck-It Ralph. What other movies could Kanye West and I intelligently discuss during a meeting?

Obviously, Wrath of Khan, and I figure we’ve probably both seen The Hunt For Red October and then I’m not sure what other movies we’ve both seen. Perhaps Along Came Polly. The joke’s on him, then, since I haven’t seen Along Came Polly, and I’m not sure I didn’t just make that title up. Maybe I’m thinking of Virus (1999), which surely neither of us saw, because we would know better. I’d hope he’s seen The Gazebo (1959) but I just know he hasn’t, and I’m the only person who’s seen Nothing Lasts Forever (1984) even if you count the people who were in it, such as the Bronner Soap guy. But he totally should watch it the next time it’s on, which will be never. That’s a shame.

I was born 198 years to the day after Johnny Appleseed. The differences between us do not end there. He/him.
