  1. Guess that’s why Alley Oop convinced Thomas Jefferson that tomatoes weren’t poisonous and were the Offical Vegetable “back home” (only to be corrected by Ben Franklin,”Actually they’re a fruit ,young man”)

    1. Ah, see, now, I know you’re joking, but the casual reader might not. Folks, there’s no way Benjamin Franklin would reach his point in that few words. Garrison’s skipping an at-minimum 200 word story and another 150 words explaining the story.
